The hiking trails around the castle:
Forget your car in the parking lot! Numerous footpaths criss-cross the hills around Château La Roque and offer you the discovery of this land of forests, scrublands, olive and cherry fields. Through the woods in the direction of Le Beaucet, you will discover the bories, the terrace gardens and their stone walls. This magnificent traditional architecture in dry stone is a real open-air museum. Outside of any tourist affluence the fauna is abundant and the flora is fragrant and superb in all seasons. Bike rides from the castle:
A bicycle is ideal for enjoying the varied landscapes of the Comtat plain, following the Carpentras canal, exploring the historic towns of Pernes les Fontaines, Carpentras and Saint Didier, and discovering the Romanesque chapels in the countryside.
