Since 1890 and 5 generations, the Lincelé family has been producing and distilling lavender.
The family is committed to preserving the fragile eco-system of the lavender. In this unique place, they explain, transmit their knowledge and passions on the history of the area, the benefits, purity and beauty of this flower emblematic of the blue landscapes of Provence.
They elaborate and create natural and organic cosmetics based on AOP fine lavender..
Visits and workshops to discover the real fine lavender and its benefits
Specialized guides and audio-guides present the botanical differences between wild and endemic lavenders in Provence, lavandins and hybrids. They explain the traditional work of lavender production, harvesting and distillation. You will be admiring the largest private collection of tools and stills used at the beginning of the century to produce the precious essential oil of lavender.
Workshops for young and others people will help you discover the uses of lavender. Children are given a quiz to help them understand the traditional work of lavender. A store allows you to test natural and organic products and cosmetics made with lavender essential oil “Château du Bois de Provence”.
